Currently, most Visma Ski Classics Pro Teams are coming together to complete their last training camps of the dryland season before Visma Ski Classics Season XI.
The German Pro Team xc-ski.de AIN Skimarathon Team has organized their traditional autumn camp, albeit with more careful measures than usual.
“It was not easy, but we managed to organize our team camp in compliance with all necessary health and hygiene standards that currently apply in Germany due to the Covid-19 pandemic”, reports Sabine Freimuth, Pro Team Director.
A detailed hygiene concept formed the base for the team’s international athletes to travel to Kempten in Germany, close to the Austrian-Swiss borders.
The Pro Team athletes, as well as recreational skiers, joined to complete not only some roller ski sessions but also trail running with poles, athletics and yoga. In addition, new equipment for the upcoming winter season was handed out and a presentation about work-life balance was on the program.
The goals for Visma Ski Classics Season XI are, of course, already set.
“We hope that most events can take place and that we achieve some good results while having fun in the ski tracks,” says Sabine Freimuth.
