Team Nordic Athletes Pro athletes Morten Eide Pedersen and Linn Sömskar showed great form when they won the early season premiere in Idre Fjäll, Sweden.
The competition took place on a nicely prepared 2.5-kilometer loop on saved snow from last winter on Idre Fjäll in the southern parts of the Swedish mountains. The format was 10 kilometers in classic style with an individual start.
Morten Eide Pedersen did not show the competitors any mercy. Pedersen won 1.11 minutes ahead of Filip Danielsson and another twelve seconds ahead of Anton Persson, both with merits from the Swedish national team. Team Robinson Trentinos Gilberto Panisi, the Italian living in Sweden, was 4th 1.40 minutes behind Pedersen. Former Team Serneke Pro Team athlete Pontus Nordström was 6th seven seconds behind Panisi. In 15th place, we also find Team Zipps Tobias Hartig just under five minutes behind Pedersen.
Linn Sömskar, preparing for her first season in Visma Ski Classics, showed that the summer training went well when she won the women's class 1.32 minutes ahead of her teammate Hedda Bångman, who will also make her first season in the Pro Tour.
