Team Ramudden has been a cornerstone of Ski Classics for many years and remains one of the circuit's strongest and most innovative squads. The Swedish Pro Team finished third in the Pro Team ranking during Season XVI and is now gearing up for another exciting winter on the Pro Tour.

In anticipation of Ski Classics Season XVII, Team Ramudden has revealed a dynamic mix of experienced and emerging athletes from Sweden, Norway, and France.

"Entering our ninth season as a team, we started with big ambitions -- initially supporting only Lina Korsgren in our first year -- and have since achieved five Vasaloppet victories and supported eight different individuals to Ski Classics wins. We've been a top-three Pro Team for several years, and our future ambition is simple: to entertain," says Pro Team Director and Ski Classics Legend Lina Korsgren.

For Season XVII, the Swedish squad presents ten Pro Team athletes -- three women and seven men -- including two Cubs skiers: Emilie Fleten (1992), Julie Kvale Stostad (1998), Tova Andersson (2004), Magnus Vesterheim (1994), Herman Paus (2000), Alfred Buskqvist (1996), Anton Persson (1995), Thomas Joly (1998), Truls Gisselman (2001), and Hjalmar Oscarsson (2004).

Team Ramudden's shining star is Emilie Fleten, who won the Champion competition two seasons ago (Season XV), finished second last winter, and currently leads the Ski Classics ranking with an impressive 26,400,000 points.

Fleten has already claimed 13 Pro Tour victories, standing on the podium ten times last season -- including five wins -- and is determined to fight fiercely to reclaim the Champion title.

Julie Kvale Stostad showed her potential last winter with several strong performances inside the top ten and aims to close the gap to the podium this season. Tova Andersson, one of the most promising young Swedish athletes, will focus on gaining long-distance experience after securing four Ski Classics Challengers victories last season.

Among the men, Magnus Vesterheim joins Team Ramudden after an impressive Season XVI, where he finished among the top ten in four Pro Tour events. He has already opened the new season with a victory at the Energamo Lipnolopet Ski Classics Challengers event in October.

Herman Paus, one of Norway's top young prospects, had a solid ninth place at the Bad Gastein ITT last season but faced challenges later in the winter. With renewed focus, he looks forward to a more consistent campaign.

Alfred Buskqvist finished 13th at Marcialonga Bodo and 14th at the Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja. At the same time, Anton Persson completed 13 Pro Tour races last season, achieving 21st place at the Bad Gastein ITT and 23rd at Marcialonga Bodo.

Hjalmar Oscarsson, promoted from the team's development squad, focused mainly on Challengers races last winter. His only Pro Tour start was at Vasaloppet, where he finished in a solid 69th position. Another promising talent, Truls Gisselman, who also represents the Swedish national team (Team Bauhaus), impressed in his two Pro Tour starts last season -- 32nd at Reistadlopet and 16th at Summit 2 Senja -- while his focus remains qualification for the Olympic Games.

Thomas Joly, from France, continues to raise the Central European flag high in Ski Classics. Last winter, he achieved a remarkable 5th place at Engadin La Diagonela and 7th at the 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon. Looking ahead, Joly aims to solidify his place among the top 10 on the Pro Tour.

Team Ramudden combines experience, youthful energy, and a shared hunger for success. As one of the Pro Tour's most professional and well-organized teams, they will once again be among the top contenders for victories and podiums in Season XVII.
