The Norwegian Pro Team, Team Telemark, consists of nine Pro athletes for season XI.
“The team’s goal is to take our second victory in Visma Ski Classics. Mikael Gunnulfsen won Reistadløpet in 2019, and we are hungry for the next victory,” says Pro Team Director Hans Kristian Lahus.
Team Telemark is in their fifth season as a professional team and competes in both short and long distance races. Most Pro team athletes don’t have so much experience competing in Visma Ski Classics, but we all remember Mikael Gunnulfsen impressive victory in Reistadløpet 2019.
It is probably 27-year old Gunnulfsen who will fix the team’s second victory in the Pro Tour as well.
“The season has started in a really nice way. Mikael won the Norwegian season premiere of 15 km classic at Beitostølen and will go to the world cup in Ruka, Finland, next weekend,” says Pro Team Director Hans Kristian Lahus.
Team Telemark can look back on a long and good period of preparation for season XI
“The dryland season has been great. We had seven training camps throughout the summer and autumn. The athletes are well prepared for the winter,” Lahus continues.
