The Estonian Pro Team, Team Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide, consists of six Pro athletes for season XI.
“We are a new team with young athletes. The first year on the Pro Tour will be much about learning,” says Pro Team Director and Pro Team Athlete Mart Kevin Põlluste.
Mart Kevin himself represented Norwegian Team Synnfjell in season X. Now he is Pro Team Director and Pro Team Athlete in the new and first Estonian Visma Ski Classics Pro Team.
“For myself, a top 30 placement in some races is what I’m aiming for,” says Mart Kevin.
In season X he was most satisfied with his 62nd place in Vasaloppet.
“Maybe I made some tactical mistakes but I had a good feeling in my body all the way, he says.
Mart Kevin has now recruited five Pro athletes to be part of the new Pro team together with himself.
“We will have our first training camp in October. We will be in Otepää. Due to covid-19, we cannot go abroad at the moment.”
Nordic Jobs Worldwide is a Norwegian recruitment company who decided to establish new offices in Estonia and at the same time found their own Pro ski team for Visma Ski Classics.
In the next three years, the ambition is to have an athlete in the absolute top of Visma Ski Classics.
