Team Ragde Eiendom's Marit Bjørgen, Therese Johaug and Andreas Nygaard did a tough challenge today, called Ragde Indoor Challenge: 5000 meters treadmill at 10% incline, 5000 meters Skierg with resistance 7 and 2000 meters rowing machine.
“Anyone who wants a tough workout can try this. Therese Johaug impressed a lot with 22.13 on the run," says Team Ragde Eiendom's Pro Team Director Jörgen Aukland.
Therese Johaug, Marit Bjørgen and Andreas Nygaard completed the challenge today and the fastest overall so far is Nygaard with 49.29 just ahead of Karstein Johaug. Therese Johaug clocked in at 51.23 and Marit Bjørgen in 53.48. See part-times below:
This is the results list for Ragde Indoor Challenge so far.
“We have this challenge for both our athletes and our sponsors. The Pro athletes get to do everything in a row and the the other get a five-minute break between the different sections,” says Jørgen Aukland.
“Anyone who wants can try and see how good Johaug's time is on the run. You start from scratch so it takes about 40 seconds before you are up at full speed,” Jørgen continues.
Tomorrow, Joar Thele will take on the challenge.
“He is strong uphill runner so I think he can beat Nygaard,” says Jørgen.
