The Pro Team was established last year, and it became the first Pro Team from Switzerland in the Visma Ski Classics Pro Tour. Now, the Swiss outfit has changed its name to BSV IBEX, and its main goal is to offer a platform and an opportunity for young Swiss skiers to enter the sport on international level if they do not make it to the National Team. The Pro Team has also recruited a well-known Swiss World Cup skier Toni Livers, the 15 km World Cup race winner in Davos in 2007, who has gained some experience in long distance skiing as well. The Pro Team wants to acquire a lot of valuable knowledge and experiences for the future and get some pro skiers in the top 15.
