Vasaloppet China with a history of almost 20 years gathers each edition about 800 participants from around the world in Changchun, China. The event was part of the Pro Tour in season VII (2016/2017) and is now back in the series as a Challengers event.
Vasaloppet China is one of China’s most popular long-distance ski races, 50km race in classic technique. In addition to the full distance, the event also features a 25km race. There is a a great atmosphere at the ski arena, framed by an outstanding snow sculpture park.
The Vasaloppet Ski Arena is located in Jingyuetan National Forest Park in the outskirts of Changchun, Jilin Province and is part of the annual Snow and Ice Festival, which has its opening ceremony just days before the Vasaloppet China.
