Marit Bjørgen will do a comeback and race against Therese Johauag in an 11,5 km roller ski hill race outside Oslo on Thursday evening.
In the mens class Team Ragde Eiendoms Andreas Nygaard and Petter Eliassen will meet 50 km world champion Hans Christer Holund.
Team Ragde Eiendom has invited to the hill race called; Ragde Challenge # Opp Tryvann. The course is 11,5 km on a really steep climb just outside the Norwegian capital Oslo.
Both Bjørgen and Johaug are part of Team Ragde Eiendom and it will be exciting to see Bjørgens status against the world best Johaug, who starts 30 seconds behind.
“It’s a challenging course, but both Marit and Therese live among it and knows it very well. This will be the first time in many years they compete against each other. I am looking forward to seeing how Marit can perform, says Team Ragde Eiendoms Pro Team Director Jörgen Aukland.
In total, about 20 elite skiers attending the race, among them lots of Visma Ski Classics Pro Team athletes. Team Ragde Eiendoms Petter Eliassen, Andreas Nygaard, Anders Aukland and Joar Thele will test their autumn shape against, for example; Öyvind Moen Fjeld and Marcus Johansson, Lager 157 Ski Team, Stian Hoelgaard, Team Koteng, Herman Paus, Team Ramudden, world champion Hans Christer Holund and former Pro Team athlete Simen Østensen.
