Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, won the 54-kilometer-long Birkebeinerrennet today from Rena to Lillehammer in Norway. His fifth Birken victory, fourth in a row.
Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, won the Ski Classics event Birkebeinerrennet with a powerful sprint finish. Nygaard completed the 11th stage of Ski Classics and the fourth and final Grand Classics event Season XVI in a total time of 2:20:15.2.
Second place, after a tight fight to the line, went to Amund Hoel, Team Engcon, 0.2 seconds back. A remarkable performance from Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, granted him the third position on the podium, 0.5 seconds behind the winner.
