The Ski Classics Challengers event, American Birkebeiner, took place this Saturday with a 50km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique from Cable to Hayward, Wisconsin, USA. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in the United States of America, American Birkebeiner, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Luke Jager and Alayna Sonnesyn won their respective races with solid performances.
American Birkebeiner – 50km Skating Men’s Race
In the men’s event, the winner, Luke Jager, completed the race at a time of 1:50:44.9.
Michael Earnhart finished in second place, 0.5 seconds behind, followed by Benjamin Dohlby, completing the podium in third position and 0.8 seconds back.

Anna-Maria Dietze finished in second place, 0.3 seconds back, followed by Emma Reeder, 2.9 seconds behind the winner, and completed the podium in third place.

As the American Birkebeiner 50km Skating is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team-registered athletes can earn points toward the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
