The second stage of Virtual World Classic Tour, Virtual Alliansloppet, was arranged this weekend.
The fastest participant in 48 km was Norwegian Pro Team athlete Vetle Thyli, Team Kaffebryggeriet. He finished the virtual race at 1:32:09 with his teammate Magnus Vesterheim one second behind.
Thyli and Vesterheim had an average speed of 31 km/h. However, the duo had found a "comfortable" way to complete the virtual race on. The route they chose was descending 715 meters.

Maxim Vylegshanin, Russian Winter Team, had the third best time with 1:47:53. Vylegshanins teammate Olga Tsareva was fastest by the women in 2:08:20 followed by Franziska Müller, xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team with 2:10:07 and Nicole Dinzallaz, representing Team Trentino Robinson, in 2:11:00.

In the team competition, where teams collect kilometers, xc-ski .de A|N Skimarathon Team is in the lead with 2424 km. Just behind is Skimarathon Team Austria with 2418 km and in third place is Team Robinson Trentino with 2050 km.
The next and last stage in Virtual World Classic Tour, is Virtual Toppidrettsveka!
“We have received a lot of requests to have the virtual final stage on a full week. So we decided to make it possible to submit results from Monday 20th to Sunday 26th of July! It will even be possible to do the distance several times and choose the best performance,” says Baptiste Noel, Project Leader Virtual World Classic Tour.
