The roller ski Challengers race Alliansloppet is moved to October 10th. The event will be open for both Pro Team athletes and recreational athletes, but the number of participants is limited.
“We will, of course, follow the restriction from the health authorities and hope that we can organize the race,” says Baptiste Noel, Project Leader, Alliansloppet.
Alliansloppet, the world’s biggest roller ski event, was supposed to be arranged on August 29th but is now moved to October.
“The restrictions in Sweden do not permit us to organize the event in August. We have now decided to move Alliansloppet to October 10th, but as a smaller version,” Noel informs.
All participants who have already registered for the event in August can postpone their registration to October, or 2021.
“Registration is paused for now until September 1st. Then we will have more information about the possibility of organizing the event and how many participants are allowed,” says Noel.
For information: The Virtual Alliansloppet (arranged past weekend) is an additional event and does not count as a result on October 10th.
