Today, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Trysil Skimaraton took place with a 42km race in classic technique in Østby, Norway.
At the end of the day, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers event saw Ulrika Axelsson, Sya SK/Team Driv Trening, and Karstein Johaug, Team Ragde Charge, win the race with great performances.
In the women’s race, Ulrika Axelsson, Sya SK/Team Driv Trening, won with a time of 2:12:29.0, more than five minutes ahead of Fanny Marie Møller Endresen, Team Driv Trening, in second place. Franziska Skogsholm, Rena IL, completed the podium in the third position.
In the men’s competition, the winner was the Pro Tour skier Karstein Johaug, Team Ragde Charge, with a time of 1:53:30.0, followed by Oscar Persson, Team Oscar Persson Consulting AB, 4 minutes and 22 seconds behind, and the Pro Tour skier Henning Lie, Team Synnfjell/Vang Skiløperforening, in the third position.

As Trysil Skimaraton is a Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
