The best season since the team’s founding in 2017. With a sixth place in the Pro Team ranking, Team Slavia Pojišťovna Robinson Trentino finished as the highest-placed non-Scandinavian Pro Team.
Pro Team Director Bruno Debertolis is proud of his squad. The hard, continuous work paid off, and the partnership with new Czech sponsor Slavia Pojišťovna proved fruitful in its first season.
“The sixth place means a lot to me; I’m proud of the past season. We certainly faced a few setbacks along the way because Oda was injured for a long time, Hanna had problems with her hand, and then Gustav was injured at Vasaloppet, but overall the season was more than positive, and we hope that next season will be as successful as the past one,” says Debertolis in an interview with ProXCskiing.
The Pro Team also had the experience of wearing the Pink bib in the Youth category in several events thanks to Simon Vuillet, even though he was not the leader, on paper, of the category.

With athletes from across Europe and a main Czech sponsor, Team Slavia Pojišťovna Robinson Trentino is among the most international squads in the Pro Tour. The service and support team comes from Italy: in addition to Bruno Debertolis as Pro Team Director, Loris Frasnelli, Sergio Piller, and Nicola Romagna work as ski technicians throughout the season to ensure optimally prepared skis; Caterina Piller is responsible for athlete care and logistics, and Mauro Debertolis also supports the team.
At the end of the season, Gustav Eriksson announced the end of his career.
“Gustav enriched our team a lot; he was always in a good mood, brought a lot of positive energy to the team, and we will miss him so much,” says Debertolis.
Eriksson was part of the Italian Pro Team for three years and achieved numerous top results. Teresa Hujerová will also no longer be part of the team.
“Teresa was part of our team for five years; she was a guarantee throughout the season, almost always in the top 20. We have experienced a lot together, and she will be missed as one of the team’s leaders,” says the Pro Team Director.
Returning athletes include French skiers Hanna Fine and Simon Vuillet, Czech racer Fabián Štočék, Norwegian Oda Nerdrum, and Italian Michaela Patscheider. The team is also pleased to welcome back fellow Italian Giacomo Ponti. New additions are young Czech talent Eliška Šibravová and fellow Czech Ludĕk Seller. The two legends Tord Asle Gjerdalen and Stanislav Řezáč will also remain part of the team and pass on their experience to the younger athletes.
The new team’s first official training camp will take place in Passo Rolle, Italy, at the beginning of July. There, the athletes will get to know each other, train together, and bond as a group.
“The fact that the athletes get along well with each other and enjoy training and competitions is the most important component of success,” concludes Bruno Debertolis, who was named Pro Team Director of the Year.
