The Norwegian Pro Team, Team Synnfjell, consists of ten Pro athletes for season XI. 
“Our goal is good individual performances and that the athletes develop and work well as a team,” says Pro Team Director Geir Kvillum.

Team Synnfjell has had a good pre-season and in their plan are five training camps at Synnfjellet, one hour drive west of Lillehammer. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, they have not yet been able to gather the whole team.
“These days, we conduct camp four out of five. Our fifth camp will be on snow in November and I hope all athletes from Norway and Sweden can participate then,” says Geir Kvillum.
“The athletes have mostly stayed healthy throughout the pre-season and the amount of training and quality has been as planned,” Kvillum continues.

The Pro Team has three new additions; 28-year-old Jonathan Hedbys from Sweden. 23-year-old Norwegian Øyvind Kinneberg and 22-year-old Konrad Mattson Myhr from Sweden.
“Jonathan is in a Pro Team for the first time. A dedicated athlete who we believe can take further steps by participate among the best,” says Kvillum.
“Øyvind and Konrad are both young athletes who both have great potential. They are also in a Visma Ski Classics Pro Team for the first time,” Kvillum informs.
Athletes from season X are Ole Eirik Fuglehaug Ekrem; the Pro teams best athlete last winter, Sigurd Hulbak and Magdalena Maierhofer, who both have taken steps this summer and will perform at a higher level the coming season.

“We are a low-budget Pro team and must operate within a framework that the economy allows. We want to build team spirit and have high demands on the quality of training, camps and equipment. Our goal is reached when we manage to deliver athletes up in the system to a better Pro team. Many have been interested in joining the team this year and we have retained and taken in athletes who are serious team players and who we believe can develop,” Kvillum ends.
