The French Pro Team, Team La Féclaz Formation Longue Distance, consists of seven Pro athletes for season XI.
“Our Pro Team is composed of athletes who have different kinds of goals. Young athletes that will discover the Pro Tour and some others with more experience,” says Pro Team Director Pierre Tichit.
Team Féclaz Formation Longue Distance train together with Team Décathlon Expérience. The two teams will travel and come together to Visma Ski classics events during the winter.
“The pooling of resources and mutual help between these two teams represent the state of mind of everybody. Together we are stronger, and we go further,” says Pierre Tichit.
“Young athletes as Arnaud (Du Pasquier) and Paul (Combey) want to harden themselves in Visma Ski Classics events, in touch with the best skiers. Others will switch between stages of the Pro Tour, Challengers, and the biggest long distance races in skating in France and internationally, Tichit informs.
The pre-season has been good for the French Pro Team despite the Covid-19 situation.
“We shared several training camps in altitude with Team Décathlon Expérience. The season is delayed, but we are looking forward to race again. Meanwhile, we enjoy serious training!” Tichit ends.
