The French-Swiss Pro Team, Team Décathlon Expérience, consists of eight Pro athletes for season XI.
“Our goals are to perform individually and collectively to be among the best Pro teams in Visma Ski Classics,” says Pro Team Director Maxime Grenard.
“The season XI Prologue is one of the goals to put the team in a good position for the rest of the season. We want to be a good representative of France in the Pro Tour,” Grenard continues.
Team Decathlon Experience is a merge between former E-liberty Ski Team and team Crédit Agricole Franche-Comté, announced at the beginning of July. The best French athletes, Alexis Jeannerod and Roxane Lacroix left Ed System Bauer Team and joined the new French-Swiss Pro team.
Since the launch of the new Pro Team, they have had a summer full of training camps.
“The Pre-season has been good until now, despite Covid-19. We did several training camps on altitude. Now, we are on a two weeks training camp in the Tignes glacier. Here we focus on altitude and lots of skiing,” says Grenard.
