Oskar Svärd, a three-time Vasaloppet winner, runs this tight Swedish outfit with four Swedes and three Norwegians. There are some world-class athletes on this team, and they aim to score big next season.

Morten Eide Pedersen has been a reliable force in Ski Classics since 2011 and has achieved a great deal over the years. He has 12 podium places in total, of which three are victories, all from Jizerská50. Last season was not the greatest for him, but he managed to be in the top 10 three times and was 11th twice. The Individual Prologue and Pustertaler Ski Marathon were his best events, and he finished 5th and 6th in those races, respectively. Indeed, he is keen on bettering himself come the new season.

Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget won the 50 km classic race at the Holmenkollen World Cup event and is one of the strongest cross-country skiers on the Norwegian National Team. He has performed well on the Pro Tour, too. Last season, he won Reistadløpet, was second at La Venosta Time Trial and Jizerská50, and finished fourth at Birkebeinerrennet and 10th at La Diagonela. His primary goal this season is to qualify for the World Championships and do well there, but we will most likely see him racing in Ski Classics at some point.

Axel Jutterström had a perfect day at Vasaloppet and hopped onto the podium, 3rd. The rest of his season was not quite as extraordinary but good nevertheless. He was in the top 20 six times, and his two 12th places at the Individual Prologue and Årefjällsloppet were his second-best results of the season. He is truly one of the rising stars on the tour and can achieve great things in the future.

Joel Anderson has not raced much on the Pro Tour, but he was 62nd at Vasaloppet last winter. The year before, he completed three stages, and his 75th place in Vålådalen was his best result.

There are three women on the team, and Sofie Elebro is a skier with which Ski Classics fans are familiar. Her first Pro Tour stage took place in 2014 when she finished 14th at Årefjällsloppet. Ever since she has been in the top-ten 27 times, and last season, she managed to squeeze herself into that prestigious club six times. Her best results were her 5th place at Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge and her 6th place at Reistadløpet.

The other name that can easily be among the top 10 female skiers is Magni Smedås. She did four races last season, finished 5th three times, and was on the podium once. The podium glory took place at Tartu Maraton in Estonia, 3rd, and her other three races were La Venosta Time Trial, Marcialonga, and Reistadløpet. This summer, she was on the podium, 3rd, at Alliansloppet.

Frida Erkers is the third female athlete on the team, and her overall performance last winter was a bit uneven. When the stars align, she can be among the ten best ladies on the tour, but she can also fall far behind. She got three top-10 finishes last season, but she also had two races where she was a bit north of the top 20. Her 7th places at Årefjällsloppet and Ylläs-Levi were her best achievements in 2022.

It is quite evident that this Pro Team has the guts and aptitude to become a powerhouse in Ski Classics. There are podium-level skiers who are eager to kill their competition on the field, and it would come as no surprise to us if these athletes were seen holding trophies in their hands next winter.
