Due to the current snow situation with warm weather and insufficient artificial snow, Sjusjøen Super Criterium scheduled for November 12 will be canceled.
The Ski Classics pre-season race planned to take place on Saturday, November 12, in Sjusjøen, Norway, has been canceled due to warm weather and not enough artificial snow stored to make a good competition track.
“Unfortunately, the unnormal weather temperatures in south Norway make it impossible to produce artificial snow, and hence delivering the event in a good way this year. We are very happy with the big interest from the Sjusjøen area to host the event, broadcasters to show, as well as the great interest from Pro Teams and athletes to compete in Sjusjøen. We move the plans of a pre-season race to next winter! Now we refocus on our Season XIV Pro Tour start in Bad Gastein, Austria, December 10-11!” says the Director of Ski Classics, David Nilsson.
