Visma Ski Classics Season XI ended up with eight thrilling events. Now we can look back on all the action when Eurosport 1 broadcast a highlight program from the season. Visma Ski Classics season XI highlight will be aired on Saturday, May 29th, at 10:15 CET, reaching 54 countries.
Season XI included eight events. From the start in Switzerland with Engadin La Diagonela the 16th of January to the ending in Sweden with Årefjällsloppet 100 km on March 27th.
Season XI held a record number of 35 Pro Teams, it also saw the greatest number of female athletes taking part in the Pro Tour. The Pro Teams included athletes from 16 countries with a total number of 312 skiers.
Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team and Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden won the Champion title while Team Ramudden managed to win the Pro Team competition. It was the first time a non-Norwegian Pro Team won the title.
