Ski Classics

These coffee athletes from Norway and the Czech Republic have been around Ski Classics for some time now and are merging with Team DRIV for the upcoming season. After securing the 10th position in the Pro Team ranking during Season XV, Team Kaffebryggeriet DRIV looks forward to the forthcoming winter and stepping up on the podium.

Team Kaffebryggeriet DRIV has seven Pro Team athletes, three women and four men, ready to fight for points and a podium place this winter. For Season XVI, the squad counts on a roster of six athletes from Norway and one from the Czech Republic: Sandra Schutzova (1991), Maren Engeskaug Nielsen (1995), Fanny Marie Moeller Endresen (1993), Vetle Thyli (1989), Simen Bratberg Ramstad (1996), Fredrik Helgestad (1997), and Henrik Haugland Syverinsen (1996).

"Team Kaffebryggeriet merges with Team DRIV. This is the coffebreewer's sixth season in Ski Classics. In fact, they love coffee so much that it's literally in their veins. But now they are taking the team a step further by merging with DRIV. DRIV is a training concept based in Oslo for personal trainers and therapists," says the Pro Team Director Matias Noren and adds:

"A key aspect for the team is the increased focus on the women's team, which will be extra strong this year. Additionally, the men's team is expected to take new steps to fight for jerseys and points in every race."

For Ski Classics Season XVI, the Norwegian Pro Team aims high: "This underdog team based in Norway is not here to take part; they are here to take over," concludes Noren.
