Team Fikala Evecon counts on local power, as only Estonian skiers are in its ranks. As the Pro Team embraces its new identity, the squad keeps its quest to make Estonian skiing an even greater force to be reckoned with.
"This season, we have moved forward with a new name and core. We are building an endurance sports community that would support the Pro Team. We believe this wide approach will help us develop further and bring Ski Classics closer to everyone. Fikala is a community that offers emotion, valuable knowledge, and pleasant company to both the beginner sports lover and the experienced fitness enthusiast," says Pro Team Director Mart Kevin Polluste, and adds:
"Our Pro Team roster is relatively young, and we strive to give Estonian skiers a chance to compete at the highest level in cross-country skiing. Having all been involved in competitive sports, we know exactly how difficult it is to continue skiing professionally after high school. Our wish is to create an additional outlet for young athletes engaged in skiing."
