The Swedish cross-country skier Daniel Richardsson is going to race Jizerska Padesatka this Sunday representing the leading Pro Team from Sweden, Lager 157 Ski Team. Daniel has raced in some long distance ski events in the past including Reistadløpet where he finished 11^th last winter and a year before 4^th.

He is a well-known cross-country skier in his home country, and he has represented Sweden at the Olympics and the World Championships. At the 2014 Winter Olympics, Rickardsson won bronze at the 15 km classical and helped Sweden win gold in the 4 × 10 km relay. He also got a gold medal in the relay at the 2010 Olympics, and he has achieved three silver medals and one bronze at the World Championships, all from relay races. He is also a winner at Holmenkollen, one of the classic annual World Cup events in Oslo, Norway.

Last winter, he became the Swedish Champion in the 30 km classic race and finished 4^th in the 50 km skating race. He has gained several victories and podium places at the Swedish Nationals during his skiing career.

“We all know what capacity Daniel has when it comes to hard courses in long distance racing. That’s exactly what Jizerska is all about. It will be interesting to see what he can do this Sunday,” says Anton Järnberg, the director of Lager 157 Ski Team.
