The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Ganghoferlauf Classic took place today with a 50km race in classic technique in Leutasch, Austria.
At the end of the day, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers event saw Jakob Milz, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, and Franziska Müller, xc-ski.de A/N Skimarathon Team, win the race with outstanding performances.
In the men’s competition, the winner was Jakob Milz, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, with a time of 1:57:36.3, in a close sprint finish with Manuel Amhof, Team Futura Alta Quota Trentino, in the second place. Martin Sutter, Fischer Racing Team, completed the podium third.
In the women’s race, Franziska Müller, xc-ski.de A/N Skimarathon Team, with a time of 2:16:02.8, won ahead of Anna Schmidhofer, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, in second place. Brandy Stewart, from the USA, finished in third place.
