Gautefallrennet 60km (former Olaf Skoglunds Minneløp, OSM) has now entered the world of Visma Ski Classics as a Challengers event. The new Challenger concept was launched earlier in April this year as a common platform in order to connect and promote long distance skiing events worldwide.
Gautefallrennet 60k is a tough roller ski race where both elite skiers and amateurs are present on the starting line. The course goes 60 km from the deep green forests at the south of Telemark, along beautiful lakes and rivers, to the mountain at Gautefall in the middle of the south of Norway. There is a height-difference of 400 m and a total rise of 1900 height-meters along the track.
"For the 11th time, we welcome elite and amateurs to the world's toughest roller ski race, with the finish line at the Gautefall Biathlon Stadium, on the highland in Telemark, one of the most beautiful places there is to be roller skiing.

We want to bring the long-distance roller skiing further to those who love cross country skiing, and for us this cooperation with Visma Ski Classics is a great opportunity to pursue this goal". The Gautefall Sportsfestival also includes roller ski races of 30 km classic, 18 km free technique, children's and youth races in both cross-country and biathlon at Gautefall Biathlon Stadium, which is also adapted for Para-athletes.
