The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event is a 45km long-distance race in classic technique and takes place this Saturday, February 19, in Kvam, Norway.
Furusjøen Rundt-rennet runs in a fantastic terrain on Kvamsfjellet, located at the entrance to Rondane National Park, one of Norway’s most beautiful mountain areas.
Every year approximately 600-800 long-distance cross-country skiers take part in Furusjøen Rundt-rennet in two distances: 45km and 20km, both in classic technique. The 45km event is part of the Visma Ski Challengers series and a seeding race for Vasaloppet and Birkebeinerrennet.
