The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Bessemerloppet, takes place in Sweden on Sunday, February 20, with a 52km long-distance skiing race in classic technique.
Bessemerloppet is a 52km classic long-distance ski race in Högbo Bruk, Sandviken, since 1960.
Only two hours north of Stockholm, the race always takes place two weeks before Vasaloppet and is the perfect preparation for the world’s largest long-distance ski event.
In addition to the 52km race that is a seeding race for Vasaloppet and Tjejvasan, the event offers its participants a 17,3km competition, also in classic technique.
