Recently Russian Winter Team had a training camp in St. Petersburg. Besides training, the Pro Team athletes also participated in the Russian Roller Ski Championship – with success.
Maxim Vylegzhanin, Alexey Dvoskin and Anastasia Rygalina all came home with medals.
“The main goal of participating in the Russian Roller Ski Championship was to feel the speed,” says Andrey Tyuterev, Russian Winter Team Pro Team Director.
Maxim Vylegzhanin took three medals. He won 15 km classic, took second place in 15 km pursuit and 30 km mass start. Anastasia Rygalina won 15 km pursuit and Alexey Dvoskin was third in 15 km classic.
Andrey Tyuterev was, of course, happy with the results and a good training camp in the St. Petersburg area. Now he has the coming season XI in sight.
“We continue to hope for the opening of the borders for the winter season and for our Pro Team to be able to participate in all races in season XI,” he says.
Happy smiles. Anastasia Rygalina and Andrey Tyuterev after her gold in the Russian Roller Ski Championship.
