The Ski Classics Challengers event Craft Ski Marathon is a 45km long-distance race in classic technique taking place this Sunday, January 12, 2025, in Grönklitt, Sweden.
Craft Ski Marathon is, for many Swedish recreational skiers, the kick-off for the race season, taking place at the beginning of January, attracting hundreds of skiers each year, with both recreational and professional skiers on the starting line.
The course is 15km over 3 laps, making 45km in classic technique this year. The start and finish are at the Grönklitt ski metropolis, just 10km away from Mora, famous for the finish of Vasaloppet.
Craft Ski Marathon will take place on January 12, 2025, and apart from the 45km long-distance race, a Ski Classics Challengers event, shorter races of 30km and 15km are also on the program.
