Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Ragde Eiendom, showed her sprint pace on Friday.
Alnæs won the sprint final at the Norwegian Cup in Lillehammer ahed of Mathilde Skjærdalen Myhrvold and Tiril Udnes Weng.
Alnæs was fourth in the prologue, won her quarterfinal and was second in the first semifinal. In the final, she was the strongest and took the victory.
Anikken Gjerde Alnæs has previously done good sprint competitions, but she has focused on double poling and preparing for Visma Ski Classics ahead of this winter. Despite that, she beat all other Norwegian girls in a sprint in free technic today.
There will be competitions of 10/15 km at the Norwegian Cup in Lillehammer with several Pro Team athletes attending on Saturday and Sunday.
