Marcialonga Bodø, the 12th event in the Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVI, takes place this Saturday, March 22, in Norway. Here is everything you need to know before the event.
MARCIALONGA BODØ
On Saturday, March 22, 2025, the spotlight falls on Marcialonga Bodø, a 50km long-distance skiing race in Norway, marking the 12th Ski Classics Pro Tour event of Season XVI.
Marcialonga Bodø expanded its horizons for Season XVI by joining the Ski Classics Pro Tour calendar. The event is a unique 50-kilometer long-distance race that promises to deliver a riveting spectacle.
A Ski Classics Challengers event last season and originally planned to take place in the urban surroundings of Bodø, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) decided earlier this week, due to the warm weather and heavy rainfall, to move the location of the event to Valnesfjord, about 40km east of the original start and finish area.
Despite the venue change, the excitement remains high as the world’s best Pro Team athletes prepare to battle for glory. With a challenging course, Marcialonga Bodø is set to offer thrilling action and fierce competition this weekend.
