With only two events remaining in Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVII, Reistadløpet and the Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja, the battle for the bibs is reaching its decisive moment. Here is a closer look at the favorites and what is still at stake in each competition.
CHAMPION COMPETITION
With a maximum of 600 points still available, the overall standings remain open on both the women’s and men’s sides.
In the women’s competition, Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, leads with 3170 points, holding a gap of 465 points over Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden (2705) and 560 points over Hanna Lodin, Team Engcon (2610). While Gjerde Alnæs enters the weekend as the clear favorite, the margins are not decisive, meaning both Fleten and Lodin remain mathematically in contention for the overall title and podium positions.
On the men’s side, Amund Riege, Team Aker Dæhlie, leads with 2482 points, 240 points ahead of Ole Jørgen Bruvoll, Team Engcon (2242), and 429 points clear of Kasper Stadaas, Team Aker Dæhlie (2053). Riege is in control, but with two demanding races remaining, both Bruvoll and Stadaas still have realistic chances to challenge for the top positions.

SPRINT COMPETITION
In the women’s Sprint competition, the outcome is already mathematically decided. Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, leads with 233 points, 84 points ahead of Julie Kvale Støstad, Team Ramudden (149), and 90 points ahead of Silje Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie (143), with only 60 points remaining.
The men’s competition, however, remains one of the tightest battles of the season. Gabriel Strid, Team GS8, leads with 212 points, just 8 points ahead of Vebjørn Moen, Team Eksjöhus (204), while Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team (54), is no longer in contention for the bib. With two Premium Sprint checkpoints remaining, the fight between Strid and Moen is wide open.
CLIMB COMPETITION
The Climb competition remains open, but with no Iconic Climb in Summit 2 Senja, fewer points are available than initially expected, making the Iconic Climb Orta at Reistadløpet especially important.

In the women’s standings, Silje Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, leads with 227 points, followed by Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, with 190 (−37) and Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, with 150 (−77). The top 2 skiers remain in contention, though Øyre Slind holds the advantage heading into the final weekend.
On the men’s side, Kasper Stadaas, Team Aker Dæhlie, leads with 163 points, ahead of Amund Riege, Team Aker Dæhlie, with 133 (−30) and Torleif Syrstad, Team Engcon, with 118 (−45). With 75 points remaining, Stadaas is in a strong position, but both Riege and Syrstad are still within reach.
YOUTH COMPETITION
As the Youth competition follows the Champion standings, the same point gaps apply.
In the women’s category, Louise Lindström, Team Eksjöhus, leads with 1978 points, holding a 515-point advantage over Anja Stolpe, The Youth Team (1463). Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team (1172), is no longer mathematically in contention. The battle for the bib is therefore between Lindström and Stolpe, with Lindström in a strong position.
In the men’s standings, Amund Riege, Team Aker Dæhlie, leads with 2482 points, 557 points ahead of Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team (1925). Simon Vuillet, Team Slavia Pojišťovna Robinson Trentino (929), is out of contention. The Youth title will be decided between Riege and Myhlback, with Riege holding a clear advantage.
PRO TEAM COMPETITION
Team Engcon leads the Pro Team competition with 1745 points, followed by Team Eksjöhus with 1541 (−204) and Lager 157 Ski Team with 1338 (−407).
With two races remaining, the competition is still open.
CUB
In the Cub category (athletes aged 23 or younger), the standings are separated by gender, but the bib is awarded to the single athlete, woman or man, with the highest points in the standings.
On the women’s side, Anja Stolpe, The Youth Team, leads with 1463 points, followed by Suzette Christin, Team Nordic Expérience/Coste – Fromagerie Marcel Petite (597, −866) and Vera Myhlback, The Youth Team (491, −972).
In the men’s standings, Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, is in front with 1925 points, ahead of Bruno Dettmann, The Youth Team (918, −1007) and Giacomo Ponti, Team Futura GTE Trentino (642, −1283).
Comparing both standings, Myhlback currently holds the highest overall score and wears the Cub bib, with a margin of 462 points over Stolpe. With 600 points still available, the competition is not yet decided, and Stolpe remains mathematically in contention for the Cub title.
VET
The Vet category (athletes aged 40 or older) also features separate standings for women and men, with the bib awarded to the athlete with the highest total points overall, regardless of gender.
In the women’s standings, Nicole Tröger, Cibes Lift Ski-Willy Marathon Team, leads with 552 points, followed by Marlies Nipius, Team Emtec Nordic (282, −270) and Jenny Ramstedt, Bruse Sauerland Ski Team (200, −352).
On the men’s side, Klas Nilsson, Team Futura GTE Trentino, leads with 716 points, ahead of Václav Sedláček, eD system RSJ Team (451, −265) and Petter Northug, Team Burger King Northug (419, −297).
Comparing both standings, Nilsson currently holds the highest overall score and wears the Vet bib, with a margin of 164 points over Tröger. With 600 points still available, the competition remains fully open, and both the men’s and women’s leaders are in contention for the final Vet bib.
