The Ski Classics Challengers event, Tjejvasan, is a 30km long-distance race in classic technique taking place this Saturday, February 21, 2026, from Oxberg to Mora, Sweden.
You can follow the event live on SC Play with English commentary starting at 8:55 CET. Teemu Virtanen will host the broadcast, with Carl Fredrik Hagen as expert commentator. SC Play is included in the ProXCskiing.com membership.

First held in 1988, Tjejvasan is the world’s largest ski race exclusively for women. Now celebrating its 38th edition, the 30km race starts in Oxberg and finishes in Mora, sharing the same iconic finish line as Vasaloppet.
Tjejvasan is part of Vasaloppet’s Winter Week 2026, which includes several competitions, among them Vasaloppet, a Ski Classics Pro Tour event, and Tjejvasan, part of the Ski Classics Challengers series.
Track Record
The course record is 1:15:39, set by Britta Johansson Norgren in 2022. The second-fastest time came in 2024, when Kati Roivas of Team Eksjöhus finished in 1:16:14, just 35 seconds behind the record.

As Tjejvasan is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team-registered athletes can earn points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions.

Everyone participating in Ski Classics, Pro Tour, or Challengers events, as well as professional and recreational skiers, can connect their profile to Ski Classics’ results database, MyPages.
