The Ski Classics Challengers event, Wadköpingsloppet, took place this Sunday with a 40km long-distance classic technique race in Örebro, Sweden. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Sweden, Wadköpingsloppet, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Elliot Angelsiöö, Storvreta IK, and Olivia Hansson, Tisdagsklubben Örebro, won their respective races with solid performances.
Wadköpingsloppet – Men
In the men’s competition, the winner was Elliot Angelsiöö, Storvreta IK, with a total time of 2:03:07.9.
Viktor Hansson, Tisdagsklubben Örebro, finished in second place, 3:14.5 back, followed by Ludvig Larsson, Garphyttans IF, 3:58.7 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

Wadköpingsloppet – Women
In the women’s event, the winner, Olivia Hansson, Tisdagsklubben Örebro, completed the race in a time of 2:29:33.0.
Elin Törnqvist, Kiruna Skidor, finished in second place, 7.3 seconds behind, followed by Ellen Olsson, Garphyttans IF, who completed the podium in third, 4:05.4 back.

As the Wadköpingsloppet 40km classic is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team-registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
