Get ready for a new and exciting winter season of Ski Classics Pro Tour as the Pro Teams presentation kicks off on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
With the Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVII approaching fast, everything points toward another unforgettable winter.
For Season XVII, the Pro Teams return to action in 13 Pro Tour events across 9 weekends in 6 countries. The Ski Classics Pro Tour season opens with the Bad Gastein Pro Team Tempo in Sportgastein, Austria, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, and concludes with the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja in Bardufoss-Finnsnes, Norway, on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
At the time of publication, 29 Pro Teams and 239 athletes are registered for Season XVII. Of those, 41% are women and 59% men. Youth skiers represent 37.66% of the field (46.94% women, 31.21% men), Cubs account for 20.5% (23.47% women, 18.44% men), and Veterans 5.02% (3.06% women, 6.38% men). These numbers will continue to evolve as the season progresses, and more skiers register for specific events.

This winter once again offers a global stage for Pro Teams and their athletes, representing countries including Australia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the USA, Poland, and, of course, powerhouses Norway and Sweden.
Norway has the largest number of athletes, 38.91% of the total number of Pro Team athletes, while Sweden takes second place with 25.52%.
After the top 2, there’s close competition for the following three countries. Germany has 7.53%, the Czech Republic has 6.28%, and France also has 6.28% of the total athletes.
