Marcialonga weekend has finally arrived. Today, Friday, January 24, you can enjoy the Italian atmosphere with the Marcialonga Story, an old-fashioned ski race. Watch the race live on SC Play from 16:30 CET.
The first time Marcialonga Story was organized was in 2013. It was a tribute to Marcialonga, celebrating, at the time, the 40th edition of the legendary race.
On SC Play, you can watch the event live, with English commentary. SC Play is included in the ProXCskiing.com membership.
Ski Classics commentator Teemu Virtanen and host Enzo Macor, an expert from the Marcialonga organization, are guiding you through the race.

What makes the race special is that the participants are using old ski equipment, no skis made after 1976 are allowed, and bindings must be 75mm.
The clothing should also be contemporary with the equipment, and the skiers will receive old-fashioned bib numbers. All to create the feeling of a bygone era.
The race starts at 16:30 CET on Friday, January 24, 2025. Participants will then ski about 11 kilometers from the start in Lago di Tesero to the finish in Predazzo. But this is no ordinary race; there is no timekeeping during the race and no results lists afterward. However, the first to cross the finish line is celebrated.
“It is a visit to the past; you feel the atmosphere of the old times. People are happy and enjoying skiing,” said Davide Stoffie, CEO Marcialonga.
