The warmth of the summer is truly upon us, and our Pro Team athletes and their Pro Teams have been out there training hard either at their summer camps or individually wherever they may be. But the new season is lurking around the corner, and in the blink of an eye we’ll see ourselves surrounded by snow and cold weather.
The new season comes with 15 exiting races in 12 unique locations. The fun begins just before the Christmas break and stretches out to early April. The CEO of Visma Ski Classics David Nilsson is more than thrilled about the upcoming season, and he believes that it could be the best so far.
“Our ambition was to have more races over a weekend when our skiers are out there on location,” Nilsson states.
“In Vålådalen last winter, we tested this back-to-back concept, and it turned out to be a success. So, we decided to explore that format a bit more. We now have three new destinations, one new country and a new type of competition. There’s really going to be a lot of new and exciting things happening in Season XII.”
On tomorrow’s podcast, Nilsson will tell you more about the season, individual events, his expectations for the winter and the new rules that will apply to the upcoming season. So, stay tuned for a new episode of Orsa2Levi on various audio platforms where podcasts are played and on our site.
