To honor the exceptionally talented and outstanding pro skiers in the tour, Visma Ski Classics is launching a Hall of Fame page on its online site. To become a legend on the Hall of Fame site a skier must have won minimum five events, getting the "Legend" status. But all event winners are shown on the page.
Visma Ski Classics is now getting close to the end of its ninth season as there are two events left in the calendar. This season has presented many exciting races, thrilling breakaways, neck-and-neck battles and several triple victories. This season also made Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team, the greatest legend of Visma Ski Classics as she managed to get her 18thvictory in the prestigious long distance skiing pro tour. She this season passed the previous leader Anders Aukland, Team Ragde Eiendom, who has 16 wins, and the best female pro skier Seraina Boner, Team Jobstation Rossignol, with her 15 wins under her belt.
To become a Visma Ski Classics Legend, a pro skier needs to have five victories in the tour. The wins do not need to be within the same year, and the races before the inception of Visma Ski Classics count as well.
Today, to honor these exceptionally talented and outstanding pro skiers Visma Ski Classics is launching a Hall of Fame page on its online site www.vismaskiclassics.com under the Pro Team section. On the page, you can see the list of the athletes who have five or more victories and check out where and when those number one spots were obtained.
Stay tuned for next event, Reistadløpet, taking place with "Pure Arctic Madness" the 6th of April in Norway.
