The Visma Ski Classics podcast Orsa2Levi, hosted by Teemu Virtanen, continues tomorrow with a special guest, the reigning Champion Emil Persson from Lager 157 Ski Team. This ambitious and passionate Swede talks about skiing and training, analyzes every race in Season XI, and reveals some facts about himself that may not be known to general public.
“I trained well last year, and I felt pretty good when the season started. So, I had high hopes, but I didn’t think that I would take the yellow bib and win so many races. For this season, I had a bit of tough start in May and June, but ever since I’ve gone up in terms of training. My body has been receptive, and I’m ready for the new season,” Emil says on the podcast.
You will also learn about Emil’s other outdoor activities in addition to skiing.
“I hate to stay inside my apartment and sit on a sofa. I need to be outdoors. If I stay inside in my apartment all day, I feel like I could have done something much more active and creative like hunting, riding a snow mobile or downhill skiing.”
Emil will also reveal a bit about his family, childhood years, future plans and ideal girlfriend. Listen to Orsa2Levi on all possible podcast platforms and on Visma Ski Classics website.
