The Ski Classics Challengers event, Tjejvasan, is a 30km long-distance race in classic technique taking place this Saturday, February 24, 2024, in Oxberg-Mora, Sweden. You can follow the event live on SC PLAY with English commentary from 8:45 CET, with Mårten Lång as a host and Magni Smedås, Team Eksjöhus, as an expert commentator.
Tjejvasan is a 30km long-distance skiing event with only female skiers at the starting line. The event was first held in Sweden in 1988, and for another edition is on the Ski Classics Challengers calendar.
On SC PLAY, you can watch the event live from 8:45 CET, with a broadcast with English commentary, together with Mårten Lång as a host and Magni Smedås, Team Ekshöhus, as an expert commentator. SC PLAY is included in the ProXCskiing.com membership.
Celebrating the 36th edition this winter, Tjejvasan is considered the World’s biggest ski race only for women. The 30km race starts in Oxberg and finishes in Mora – the same historical finish as Vasaloppet.
Tjejvasan is part of Vasaloppet’s Winter 2024, which offers several competitions, including Vasaloppet, part of the Ski Classics Pro Tour, and Tjejvasan, part of the Ski Classics Challengers series.
