Today, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers took place with a shortened 43km classic technique race in Oberammergau, Germany, and saw Team Ramudden win in the men’s and women’s competitions.
In the women’s event, Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden, didn’t give her rivals a chance and won the race with a time of 1:49:54. Her teammate Ida Dahl, Visma Ski Classics yellow bib holder, was in second place, almost 3 minutes behind. Third place was Franziska Müller, Team xc-ski.de A/N Skimarathon Team, nearly 10 minutes behind the winner.
In the men’s race, Max Novak, Team Ramudden, won the race, with a time of 1:44:43, 0.2 seconds ahead of Petter Soleng Skinstad, Team Coop. Third place went to Herman Paus, Team Ramudden, 0.7 seconds behind.
As König Ludwig Lauf is a Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in respective gender.

Following Visma Ski Classics Challengers events are Åsarna Ski Marathon in Sweden and Alutaguse Marathon in Estonia, both on February 12, and La Transjurassienne in France, on February 13.
