The Italian Pro Team, Team Futura Trentino Alta Quota, consists of nine Pro athletes for season XI.
The Pro Team is a mix of young and old Italian and Russian Pro athletes with former Olympic gold medalists Aleksandr Legkov and Evgeniy Dementiev, among them.

“Our goals are basic because our budget it’s not so big. We want to be among the first 50 athletes with a male athlete and the first 10 with a woman athlete in the SC ranking,” says Pro Team Director Andrea Buttaboni.
“We also would like to become the best Italian Pro Team but we want to start with a low profile and for one or two races – hopefully in Italy – have a placement top 30 in a single race in the men’s class,” says Buttaboni and continues;
“It all depends on the Covid-19-situation. The flights from Russia are closed at this moment and our best athletes are Russian…”
Off course Andrea is talking about this strong trio: Aleksandr Legkov, Evgeniy Dementiev and Elena Ustiugova.
“Anyway we think positive because we have other young and promising athletes. We believe that the brothers, Stefano and Riccardo Mich, will be ready for good results. We expect a lot from them because they are really motivated and have good confidence. 25 years old Manuel Amhof is also a possible surprise,” says Buttaboni.

“The coming Saturday, we will be presenting our new team to the media in Val di Fiemme and the same week, we will organize a Training Camp in Passo Lavazè with Skiroll at the new technical roller ski track there. The second training camp will be in the middle of October, maybe in Seiser Alm, Südtirol. Then we look forward to the start of season XI in Livigno,” Buttaboni ends.
