The Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XV kicks off in Bad Gastein, Austria, on Saturday and Sunday. VG TV will bring the events live to the Norwegian audience with 300 athletes from 12 Countries in 35 Pro Teams on the starting lines.
For Ski Classics Pro Tour, the new collaboration with VG is a milestone.
“Ski Classics is on the rise in Norway; last winter, the TV audience had an average increase of 10% per event. With the transforming media sports landscape we are in, the cooperation with VG TV, the biggest media site in Norway, is very interesting for the future. In addition, this winter, state TV NRK owns the rights to 12 of the 15 events in the Pro Tour,” says David Nilsson, CEO Ski Classics.
Big names, innovative competitions
On Friday, Season XV opens up in Felsentherme outdoor Spa, 16:45 – 18:30 CET, with a Team Presentation stage event, introducing all 35 Pro Teams competing this winter.
