In early May, Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide informed in a press release that the team would have a 100% Estonian team next season. Today, they announced that Mattis Jaama is joining the Estonian Pro Team.
“New teammate alert. Glad to welcome you on the team Mattis Jaama.”
“Living for the past five years in one of the flattest countries in the world without any real snowfall, Mattis Jaama has had his most successful seasons in the past three years, winning three medals at the European and World Championships in ski-orienteering,” says Pro Team Director Mart Kevin Põlluste on the social media.
The 30-year-old Jaama is an Estonian ski-orienteering, and traditional cross-country skier living in Denmark has won three medals at the European and World Championships in ski-orienteering and has been one of the best Estonian junior cross-country skiers.
