Stanislava Rezac is certainly one of the greatest legends of our beloved sport. He has won so many races that one can easily lose count, among them four victories at Birkebeinerrennet, 12 podium places in Visma Ski Classics since 2011, many great victories in various international long distance ski events and several top 10 places at Vasaloppet, twice on the podium.
Now, his Slavia Pojistovna Sport Team, one of the Czech Pro Teams in Visma Ski Classics, has recruited two athletes who participated at the FIS World Championships in Seefeld, Austria, last winter. They are Petr Knop and Adam Fellner, and the former finished 48th at the 50 km skating race, 53rd in the skiathlon race and 66th in the 15 km classic race while the latter managed to get 49th place in the 15 km classic race and 51st place in the skiathlon race. They both were part of the Czech team in the 4 x 10 km relay that finished 11th. So far, they have signed in for the Pro Team Tempo in Livigno, but they may be eager to try their long distance wings in more races in Season X.
