The digital transformation is sweeping around the globe, in order to keep up with the changes Visma Ski Classics now launches the news brand called Pro XC Skiing, a digital community designed for all cross-country skiers around the world.
Pro XC Skiing is the first global English language cross country skiing content service, it will of course focus on Visma Ski Classics events and skiers within, but other parts of the sport around the year will also part of the content offering.
The purpose of this digital community is not to compete against any local cross-country ski sites but to support them and create a mutual gateway to the world of cross country skiing. You can read regular articles on the website, watch video clips on PLAY and Facebook and follow action on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. In addition, you can also access to other national cross-country ski sites in different languages and connect to pro team social media sites and eventually communicate with other people around the globe.
Teemu Virtanen, who has worked as a content manager and commentator for Visma Ski Classics, has been appointed as a new Content Director to be responsible for building up the Pro XC Skiing platform.

I'm excited about taking the new role of Content Director and building an engaging community for those who love cross-country skiing.
