The Youth Team, Lager 157 Ski Team’s development squad, continues its role as a stepping stone to the senior Pro Team roster, with one promotion and one new arrival shaping the roster for Season XVIII.

Filled with promising young athletes since 2021, the team gives its skiers a platform to develop before potentially stepping up to Lager 157 Ski Team, one of the most successful Pro Teams in Ski Classics history.

Anja Stolpe graduates to Lager 157 Ski Team after a standout Season XVII, finishing second in the Youth competition. Taking her place is Linnea Johansson, who moves the other direction after racing for Lager 157 Ski Team last season. Maja Majbäck also departs.

Five athletes continue: Marcus Johansson, one of the longest-serving athletes on the circuit, with Pro results dating back to Season I in 2010/2011; Valter Blomber; Vera Myhlback, younger sister of Alvar Myhlback; and Lisa Alrik. Bruno Dettmann is the name to watch. The 22-year-old delivered the best result of his career at Vasaloppet last season, crossing the line in 17th place, a remarkable result for a development team athlete in the biggest race on the calendar. With Anja Stolpe already making the step up, could Dettmann be the next Youth Team athlete to earn a place on Lager 157 Ski Team?
