Pro Team Director
Halvor Korbøl ThonerTeam Sport 1 Lillehammer, a Norwegian development squad, undergoes a significant rebuild for Season XVIII, fully committing to its identity as a recruitment pipeline for Ski Classics.
The team, formerly known as Sjusjøen Ski Team, exists to nurture emerging talent and give experienced skiers a platform to perform consistently at a high level, serving as a feeder squad for Team Sjusjøen Langløp and other leading Pro Teams.
Last season, the squad finished 29th in the Pro Team standings. For Season XVIII, Pro Team Director Halvor Korbøl Thoner steps back from competing to focus on the director role, and the entire women’s lineup has turned over. Four new athletes join: Jørgen Hvatum, Ingrid Elise Kullerud, Mie Sørensen, arriving from the NTNUI Ski Team, and Dyvéke Aakervik.
Only Ole Eirik Fuglehaug Ekrem and Jørgen Harby remain from last season’s roster, leaving the team almost entirely rebuilt around its youngest generation yet.
