Switzerland’s first and leading Pro Team enters Season XVIII with a reshaped roster, headlined by a major international signing. 

The team’s mission remains the same: giving athletes from Switzerland outside the national team structure the chance to compete at a high international level, with young athletes given time to develop step by step and without pressure. The long-term goal is to produce a Swiss top 10 skier, while growing Ski Classics’ popularity in Switzerland and Central Europe. 

Katerina Paul and Noëlie Maurin continue with the team, alongside Cla-Ursin Nufer and Jon-Fadri Nufer, who both made their Vasaloppet debuts for the Pro Team last season, and Jon Andri Guler, who raced the Bad Gastein Criterium. Lauro Brändli and Curdin Räz have both stepped away from racing, with Brändli now joining the team as coach. 

Three new athletes join for Season XVIII: Sebastian Jansson Saadio, Jakub Mazacek, and the headline addition, American Alayna Sonnesyn, who brings over 100 World Cup starts and five American Birkebeiner titles to the Swiss Pro Team.
